We are looking for a Senior Privacy Analyst to support a Federal opportunity in Arlington, Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and draft policy and guidance, and prepare and present training materials to Federal personnel on privacy policy, applications and related matters.
- Analyze, process and coordinate Privacy Act System of Records Notices and Computer Matching Agreements and develop supporting Component guidance and training materials.
- Develop and manage privacy program office strategic plan.
- Coordinate with government personnel on information sharing issues and advise government personnel on policy deficiencies and workforce training needs.
- Develop, facilitate, and conduct outreach to advocacy, academia, and other private sector communities to obtain diverse viewpoints on Departmental programs and policy matters.
- Lead small group meetings and prepare accurate meeting minutes.
- Prepare plans and track progress against plans through follow-up actions.
- Coordinate work with Component offices.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 years of experience including 2 years of experience directly supporting a Federal privacy office.
- Knowledge of federal privacy legislative requirements and safeguards including the Privacy Act of 1974, OMB memoranda, and 9/11 Commission Recommendations Act of 2007.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Access experience preferred.
Clearance:
- U.S. Citizen and able to to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
