Highlight Attains ISO 9001 Quality Certification
In May 2013, Highlight Technologies attained ISO 9001:2008 certification based on an external audit of our Quality Management System. This certification demonstrates Highlight’s commitment to increased effectiveness, consistency and customer satisfaction in the delivery of IT professional services to our customers.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security Technical, Acquisition and Business Support Services (TABSS) Contract Award
Highlight Technologies, teamed with prime Allied Technology Group, was awarded a spot on the Department of Homeland Security’s TABSS contract with the United States Coast Guard. Highlight will compete for task orders under this $11 Billion contract. This IDIQ will provide Program Support, Financial Management Support Services, and Acquisition Support Services. Highlight Employees Volunteer with Hands on DC
On March 9, 2013, about 20 Highlight employees, families and friends volunteered with Hands On DC, an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that organizes projects to improve the physical condition of Washington, DC public schools. We used stencils, paint, and some teamwork to paint a division table mural in a DC school. See our photos on Facebook.
AFCEA Homeland Security Conference and Small Business Matchmaking Symposium
Highlight Technologies is pleased to be a returning sponsor of the 2013 AFCEA Homeland Security Conference, to be held February 26-28 in Washington, DC. Highlight is also helping to coordinate the Small Business Matchmaking Symposium that will be held prior to the conference on February 26.
Women in Technology Job Fair
On February 25, 2013 Highlight attended the WIT Job Fair, held in Vienna, VA. We were recruiting for admin and program support staff, software developers, and information security professionals to support current and upcoming contracts. We enjoyed meeting great folks and seeing our WIT colleagues!
