Data protection contract
In March 2010, Highlight Technologies was awarded a contract from the U.S. Department of Education to perform a study of resources and practices for protecting individual records in longitudinal education data systems.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement
In October 2009, Highlight Technologies was awarded a five year contract with Northrop Grumman Corporation to provide data architecture, data management and information assurance expertise in support of DHS/ICE.

Privacy Training for National Security Professionals

About this course:

This is a practical privacy course that is geared towards non privacy professionals who must understand and implement privacy in their areas of responsibility. This 8-hour course provides a solid grounding in the “Three Pillars” of Federal privacy law and the Fair Information Practice Principles. In addition to foundational training, this course includes laws and case studies relevant to the National Security sector. With a mix of lecture presentations and interactive exercises, participants can practice applying their privacy knowledge to realistic scenarios. Participants can measure their learning through pre- and post-course self assessments.
